Devin Booker’s injury is a left adductor strain, or more commonly known as a groin strain. It’s the same diagnosis the team gave immediately following the injury, and thankfully that means he’s only going to miss two-to-three weeks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Luckily, he’s set to return before the New Year.
This could have been bad
The Suns are already 9-17, cementing themselves into tank competition. Booker is one of the few reasons to watch the team play as currently constructed because he’s blossoming into an offensive star. In his third season, he’s averaging 24 points per game on 38 percent three-point shooting. He’s a special player!
Without him, the Suns were destined to tank to an unwatchable level.
He’ll be back in action soon enough, though.
