Blackhawks Beat Golden Knights in SO Vegas Golden Knights 2 – Chicago Blackhawks 3  SO

Highlights:  Tyler Johnson scored the lone goal in a shootout to give the Chicago Blackhawks their third straight victory, 3-2 over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night. Johnson beat Laurent Brossoit with a low shot in the third round of the tiebreaker after scoring a power-play goal with 55 seconds left in regulation to for force overtime. “Tyler plays so hard and he does all the right things for us,” Chicago coach Luke Richardson said. “It was great to see him have that opportunity to tie it up and then have that chance in (the shootout.) “It looked like he was going to deke and he just slid it in there.” Johnson tied it on a screened shot from the high slot after Vegas defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was penalized for delay of game for lofting the puck over the glass and goalie Petr Mrazek was pulled for an extra attacker. Johnson was set up on a cross-ice pass from Patrick Kane.
