The game was tied at 1 when Ian Happ led off the sixth with a shallow fly ball that dropped between Tampa Bay second baseman Brandon Lowe and right fielder Josh Lowe in a miscommunication between the fielders. Los Angeles Angels 3 – Chicago White Sox 7
Highlights: Romy González just might play his way into a bigger role with the Chicago White Sox. If he keeps connecting like this, manager Pedro Grifol will have no choice. González homered in his third straight game, Andrew Vaughn drove in three runs and Chicago beat the Los Angeles Angels 7-3 on Tuesday night. The White Sox looked as if they were headed toward their fourth straight loss after Los Angeles grabbed a 3-1 lead against Lucas Giolito (4-4). Chicago Sky 65 – Atlanta Dream 83
Highlights: Rhyne Howard scored 20 points, Allisha Gray and rookie Haley Jones each added 13 and the Atlanta Dream eased past the Chicago Sky 83-65 on Tuesday night. Cheyenne Parker had 10 points and eight rebounds for Atlanta (2-2). The Dream made 18 of 24 free throws compared to 9 of 11 makes for the Sky. The Dream led 40-25 at halftime after Chicago shot just 28% and turned it over eight times. The Sky finished the game 25 for 77 (33%) with 15 turnovers. Dana Evans scored 11 points to lead Chicago (3-2). Kahleah Copper, Marina Mabrey and Kristine Anigwe each added 10.
