Lakers' disrespect for Jerry West, the NBA logo: It's horrible | MarcaPlayoffs – 2nd Round

West – Game 5:

  • Phoenix Suns 102 – Denver Nuggets 118  (DEN leads series 3-2)

Highlights:  Nikola Jokić not only squashed his beef with the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, but he also led the Denver Nuggets to a commanding win at Ball Arena. Jokić dropped a 29-point triple-double to lead the Nuggets past the Suns 118-102 in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinals series. The Nuggets now lead the series 3-2, and are just a win away from reaching the conference finals for the first time since 2020. East – Game 5:

  • Philadelphia 76ers 115 – Boston Celtics 103  (PHI leads series 3-2)

Highlights:  Prior to Game 5 of a tied Eastern Conference semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers, Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla said, “It’s not much different than the regular season,” and his team played like it. As was the case in Sunday’s Game 4 loss, Boston lacked the requisite energy from the jump, and the deficit snowballed to double digits before halftime. Only, this time the defending conference champions never met their rival’s competitiveness or made it interesting, falling 115-103 to the brink of elimination.
