Terence Crawford and Errol Spence boxing. Crawford Beats Spence Jr. – Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford provided a stunning result. Spence and Crawford collided inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 29. The winner would earn the distinction of being the unified welterweight champion of boxing. Spence was putting the WBC, WBA, and IBF gold up for grabs, while trying to take the WBO title from Crawford. Things got a little testy between the camps of Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford at the final press conference for the fight. The tension did cool down, however during the weigh-ins, and both men were cordial and had some light competitive words for one another. As expected, Spence planned to utilized his power jab in the early going. Crawford demonstrated the same patience he’s been known for in the opening frame, but he would soon turn up the heat.
