Game 2:

  • Minnesota Lynx 82 – Connecticut Sun 75  (Series tied 1-1)

Highlights:  The Minnesota Lynx roared back with an 82-75 Game 2 win over the Connecticut Sun on Sunday, and both teams can now expect a boisterous atmosphere as they head to Minnesota for Game 3 at Target Center on Wednesday. After being smoked 90-60 in the first game of their playoff series, Cheryl Reeve‘s No. 6 seeds upset the No. 3 Sun in their own backyard. The Lynx were led by guard Kayla McBride, whose contract was extended by the Lynx earlier this month, and Napheesa Collier, with the pair putting up 28 and 26 points respectively.   • Chicago Sky 70 – Las Vegas Aces 92  (Las Vegas wins series 2-0)

Highlights:  The Las Vegas Aces are headed to the WNBA Semifinals for the 5th consecutive season thanks to a franchise playoff-high of 38 points from A’ja Wilson in a 92-70 victory over the Chicago Sky Sunday afternoon in Game 2 of the First Round of the 2023 Playoffs. Wilson led 4 Aces in double figures, and also collected 16 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and 3 steals in less than 30 minutes of action as the Aces never trailed. Kahleah Copper scored 25 to lead the Sky in their final game of the year.
